Carlton was born and raised in Wayne County NC. He attended and graduated from Charles B Aycock Highschool. Upon gradution he enlisted in the US Army. He later attended John Tyler Community College in Chester Va and graduated with a  degree in Funeral Service. He is a retired US Army Veteran and a member of the Prince Hall Masons and several civic organizations.    He  attends Riley Hill Baptist Church in Wendell NC. Carlton and Mirranda have five children and one grandson together.

Jarvin graduated from Winston Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC with a degree in Communications. He has six children and one grandson. Jarvin has been working with Carlon L. Gray Funeral & Cremations for eight years.

Benjamin Wilder lives in Pikeville NC and is a retired from Cherry Hospital with 30 years of service. He is a Norwayne Highschool graduate and a member of the Norwayne Alumni Association.  Ben attends Hooks Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pikeville NC, where he serves on the Trustee Board.
